Pros

The people at clinic level are great

Cons

Pay is not great for what is expected Management constantly changing. Treat clinic staff like they are just a number. Tattoo removal is a small industry. Staff are forced to put up with it or leave the industry altogether. Running clinicians into the ground Only care about making money and selling packages. Force sales staff to use borderline dishonest practices during consultations to suck clients in and then wonder why the clients expectations are not being met. Always trying to cut costs when it comes to clinic staff then spending millions on opening and moving clinics. Staff often are not supported, get burnt out and leave. No opportunites for advancement. They talk a lot about culture and values but don’t show it to clinic staff. There is a massive difference between how clinic staff and out of clinic staff are treated, but it’s the people in the clinics who are making all the money.

Pros

Great new hire training program. Pay.

Cons

*Operational Concerns and Expectations* We have several concerns regarding the current operational structure and expectations within our organization. 1. *Hours of Operation*: The new hours of operation have resulted in an unsustainable work schedule, particularly with the requirement to work every Saturday without a full weekend off. 2. *Staffing and Workload*: The current staffing ratio per studio is inadequate, leading to an uneven distribution of workload among employees. This has resulted in employees being expected to perform extra duties beyond their job descriptions, without corresponding adjustments to their compensation. 3. *Studio Maintenance and Cleaning*: In states where medical providers are not required to assist with studio maintenance, consultants are left to bear the sole responsibility for cleaning and maintaining the studio. This is an unfair expectation, particularly given the disparity in compensation between consultants and medical providers. 4. *Financing Application Requirements*: The mandatory requirement for all clients to undergo financing applications has created undue pressure on employees. Furthermore, penalizing employees for not meeting financing application targets is an unfair and demotivating practice. 5. *Turnover Rate and Work-Life Balance*: The organization's high turnover rate and lack of work-life balance are significant concerns. Employees are expected to perform duties outside of their job descriptions, including social media content creation and outdoor marketing, without fair compensation or recognition. 6. *Compensation and Recognition*: The lack of compensation for social media content creation and constant video production is unfair and undervalues the contributions of employees. Similarly, expecting employees to physically market and recruit customers outside of the studio without fair compensation or recognition is unreasonable. We believe that addressing these concerns is essential to improving employee satisfaction, reducing turnover, and promoting a healthier work-life balance.

Pros

I have just completed my training and I would like to start by saying that every aspect of this experience has been absolutely amazing. The people, the culture, especially those I have had the pleasure of directly interacting with, have made a significant impact. From the very beginning, meeting Leah, my recruitment contact, was an exceptionally positive experience. She not only provided me with the opportunity but also facilitated my progression. Even a simple phone interview with Leah was a welcoming experience, she was genuinely excited, and her congratulations for the call made me excited to be a part of Removery. Meeting Frazier, my immediate supervisor, was the next step, and I still thank him for giving me a chance to work with Removery. Both Frazier and Leah set the bar high for what was to come, and their enthusiastic approach truly set the stage for the outstanding experience that followed. When I arrived in Austin for the intensive training program, I was a bit nervous to meet Tim and Andrea, the training managers, but as soon as introductions were made, it was an exceptionally positive experience. These two individuals truly embody the Removery brand, and I can't imagine two better people to represent and train new hires. Regarding my personal experience, meeting Tim and Andrea, they clearly understood my background – 20 years in sales, but with limited experience with lasers. It felt as though they had studied each of us beforehand, despite there being eight new hires. They prepared for our individual needs, even seeming to anticipate our personality types, It was truly impressive and made me feel valued. They invested in us, just as Frazier and Leah had. Tim and Andrea are two of the most genuine people I've ever met, and their passion for their work is evident. It's almost as though they bleed Removery, and their enthusiasm about the company is infectious - and that enthusiasm extended to everyone involved (Frazier, Leah, Tim, and Andrea). Tim, my direct trainer, was also a great advisor. He was patient, offered insightful ideas, and provided challenging yet constructive criticism. This, in turn, motivated me because I didn't want to disappoint him. Even with my extensive sales experience, he offered friendly advice, never invasive. I was eager to absorb everything he taught and applied his advice to my training, leaving with much more knowledge than I arrived with. To illustrate the impact of their training, on our last day of training, I lost all my notes in an Uber! Literally hours before our final group presentations, where we had to practice our presentations with our delivery, timing and deliver Removery's message. Despite having nothing to study from but my memory, the information Tim and Andrea had imparted stuck with me. I felt I almost nailed my presentation, even without any preparation other than the training we had learned in the preceding days. I feel confident that I did a good job, and I am very excited about my career path with Removery after this in-depth training. If I could use only one word to describe Removery, the culture, the training, the hire process, it would be: EXCEPTIONAL Everything is just exceptional.

Cons

Having to fly out to and spend a week away from family was probably my only Con. However, we are given notice 1 month in advance to prepare.
