Pros

If you're a self-starter that can think quick on their feet, work across departments effectively to find solutions, and want to actually do cool stuff rather than just talk about it, this is the place for you. Renaissance is truly making a difference in the lives of students and educators -- the stories we hear of customer success are nothing short of inspiring -- and with plenty of new things on the horizon, the future for this company looks very bright. I work in our Marketing department, and I can say that the group of people I work with are some of the best and brightest I've had the pleasure to work with in my career. We motivate each other every day to think big, start small, and fail fast -- as Facebook-ish as that sounds, it's true.

Cons

If you're not used to a fast-paced environment, or you want a 9-5 job where you punch in and punch out, this may not be your best bet. We're an educational software company that needs to move quickly, and you're the one that will need to advocate for the work/life blend that makes the most sense to you.

However, we always want that pace to be in service of teachers and students consistent with your thoughts. Thank you for your commitment, and for being part of our team! – Mike Evans, Interim CEO

Pros

Lots of good people to work with. Good growth opportunity.

Cons

The education market is financially challenged and subject to political influence. Budget uncertainty is built into it.

Thank you for writing this review. The education market does move somewhat with changes in political priority, but also is consistently looking for solutions that support student achievement. Given our ability to support student growth, we’re committed now more than ever to our mission, and look forward to what lies ahead! – Mike Evans, Interim CEO
