Pros

Great people who care about teachers, students and the company mission and making life better for kids. Good benefits and fair compensation.

Cons

New CEO, Daniel Hamburger, brings a very different culture from his previous role at at DeVry, and seems to lack any understanding of what makes Renaissance, its customers and employees special and successful.

Thank you for writing this review. I appreciate your feedback. As I am writing this, I have just completed my fourth week as Renaissance CEO, and I agree: I have more to learn about this great organization and K-12 education. As a leader, I believe in having an open door — and an open mind — on ways we can get better, individually and as an organization. Even though Glassdoor reviews are anonymous, I would like to hear your thoughts on what I can do more to learn more about our customers and the industry. If you feel comfortable doing so, please feel free to set up time with me. Finally, I agree with you that Renaissance is a special place — and that is why I chose to come here. Thanks again for your review. — Daniel Hamburger, CEO

Pros

I cannot count the number of monetary benefits given and offered by Renaissance on all 10 fingers and toes. Beyond that, I believe the people and environment are what keep everyone smiling. I have never had a bad experience with any of the management, and there is a ton of encouragement and opportunity to develop skills in your current department or even a new one.

Cons

I can not think of any cons to working here - no complaints from me!

Pros

What makes it great? An important focused mission. Great forward thinking leadership at the C-level that knows how to lead employees to deliver that mission. Products that deliver great results for our customers. A culture of respect, inclusion and kindness in the workplace.

Cons

The free ice cream in the Rapids facility can cause weight gain!

Thank you so much for taking time to write this review. It’s very rewarding for me and for the leadership team to read that our employees are connected to our Mission and believe in our products. We’re confident the Renaissance Growth Platform will help our company to continue accelerating learning for all. Thanks again, and I hope you still take advantage of the free ice cream now and then. ;) — Mike Evans, Interim CEO
