      Pros

      Good morale in the team. Generous benefits. Hard work but not unrealistic.

      Cons

      The more senior staff didn't fully connect with us. Obviously there is a hierarchy but the disconnect between levels could be reduced.

      You work for education, you will be well perceived by your friends.

      Cons

      Renaissance Learning is a very suited company for people that need structure and are afraid of the unknown. With extremely vertical management, there are doers and deciders. Of course, the deciders know nothing about doers' jobs (and the opposite is often true). If you need challenges and freedom to give the best out of yourself, there are many more exciting companies to work for ...

      Pros

      A very supportive HR team. Generally management are friendly and take time to get to know everyone, even those 'at the bottom'. LOADS of great benefits like health insurance, reduced gym membership, rewards vouchers and (outside of COVID times) very generous with drinks and catering for employee events. Gorgeous office!

      Cons

      All product updates are geared towards US market. UK always an 'afterthought' in terms of company-wide communications. Decision-making isn't communicated from the top-down very well.
