Pros

Worked with a great group of people who really cared about the customer.

Cons

Every acquisition created more chaos. There were to many hands in the pot of every account. Customer didn't know who to contact when they needed support. Quotas were unattainable, and based on multiple individuals selling into the territory.

Sales Department - Bad News

Recommend

Business Outlook

Pros

Customers tend to keep buying Renaissance products even though the customer service is terrible. Especially at the start of school.

Cons

This company continues to decline. Employee morale at an all-time low in the Sales Department. Turnover is huge in sales and sales support roles. Inconsistencies in commissions – it all depends on what territory you are assigned. And after years, some individuals continue to be on a gravy-train because of handpicked territories they were assigned in special accounts.

Get it together

Business Outlook

Pros

Belief in a company mission, collaboration between departments

Cons

Processes involved in daily work are inefficient, convoluted and time consuming. Sales quotas are unrealistic and compensation plans punish those that were successful the year prior. Pricing is inconsistent year over year and presents a problem to overcome when renewing customers.
