Pros

Great individual contributors, many gained through acquisitions. LinkedIn learning access.

Cons

Horrible on boarding experience, too many acquisitions of companies that were fully functioning on their own. Truly, a Frankenstein of a company. Multiple rounds of layoffs. Management at all levels was an absolute joke. Clearly some were promoted just because of tenure and have very few management skills. So many incredible people have left because of the toxic environment. Little to no work life balance. I had seen field consultants traveling for two weeks at a time. Very low compensation compared to other companies.

Pros

Great time with deep industry expertise. Most of our products are best in industry. Our people are the best in the industry. You will work with inspired, ambitious, and dedicatd teammates who push and inspire you to grow. There is ample opportunity here to learn and grow intellectually.

Cons

Firm career growth is limited. As THE major player in education technology, employees tend to stay in their roles. Low turnover alongside a more unpleasant notion of retaining interdepartment limits movement within a company that otherwise should be abundant with trajectory for those looking to learn and earn including in other departments and roles. CS program is still developing but strong than many other orgs. CS does not carry much influence but that seems to be developing as well. Recent lay offs prioritized savings through automation. Framed as meeting customer needs but most CSMs agree that cutting product and support roles at a net loss. While replacing some of those cuts offshore and with AI might be a bright vision, it is currently a far cry from realization. That will likely take form longterm, but short-term the compensation has not kept up with the demand of the workload. Some acquired products are a real nuisance to say the least.

Pros

- Unlimited PTO - Access to Franklin Covey courses if you were a people leader - Access to LinkedIn Learning

Cons

- minimal work-life balance - poor distribution of work - not enough staff for the workloads - not competitive salaries (unless you are in Sales it seems) - no cost of living increases - senior leadership works to repress any annual salary increase at all - annual reviews are a joke (everyone is a 3) - minimal opportunity for growth - constant layoffs (at least 3 in the last six months) - out of touch upper management - no transparency, upper management is not good at change management - removed the DEI landing page from the company website when the current administration started its rampage against DEI
