      - Challenging: you have to work hard to keep up - Talented colleagues: the people here are smart and truly care about the products they're building - Open: easy access to and frequent face time with senior leadership - Great cause: helping kids accelerate learning

      Pros

      Historically a very mission-oriented company though under recent private ownership after the founders left, the company has become more "commercial" though still less so than most companies, comparatively.

      Cons

      Not as much opportunity for advancement as I would have liked; they didn't promote quickly or across departments and made key or strategic hires from the outside, leaving those of us inside overlooked.
