Pros

I say this to every new hire I chat with: my favorite thing about Render is the genuineness. People show up as their true selves at Render, and it breeds a collaborative, understanding, unique culture that I deeply cherish. Tender has opened so many doors and opportunities for growth in my personal career, and I'm so grateful for the managers and leaders who have made that possible.

Cons

We're a hybrid company, and sometimes it can be a challenge to find closeness and community with remote all the remote folks. I am glad however that we are hybrid, and that Render allows and encourages employees to have the flexibility and balance they need.

Pros

- Adoption of Render’s platform is growing incredibly quickly, with almost no GTM team. Now that we are starting to hire sales and marketing, that’s only accelerating. - We are building intentionally and solving real problems, with and without AI. The exec team isn't just chasing the AI hype and funding for the sake of it. As an employee navigating a very noisy market, it’s nice to work on something that feels like more substance than hype. That being said, we do actually have many AI companies building on Render, and we could do a better job of talking about that to build excitement internally and externally. - There’s a clear effort to make sure Render remains a sustainable place to work, which is encouraging amongst the *rolls eyes* 9-9-6 hype. It's definitely still a faster pace vs larger companies, but that's expected. - I’ve yet to work with anyone on the team that isn’t incredibly kind and intelligent.

Cons

- Despite actually having very strong product fit and adoption among AI startups, we don’t talk about it much. Because we aren’t talked about as a hot AI startup, there's more friction to attracting new talent, and there’s more of a draw for tenured team members to go to companies that are getting more attention.
