Pros
They are trying to make it professional environment. The working environment is non-competitive and relaxed. If you are very technical and capable, you can probably get away with a lot.
Cons
They fail to recognize and promote those who are in the lower positions regardless of how good their work performance is. One engineer was not promoted even once for 10 years of service, because he was a quiet Asian. Also, those in the upper management have no technical skills and hire people who have no qualifications from the technical standpoint. But if you are very capable, you can get away a lot. Working for this company would set your reputation back also, if you are an engineer. If you are starting out, this maybe an easy place to find a job. But that's because they can pay you less. The upper management is only interested in promoting themselves. So they have high turnover.
