Pros
I had a good start at Renuity - and was excited to get into the company, industry, and challenges of a startup that was already growing rapidly. I was well paid, though most salary levels for later positions were significantly lower— and I still suspect my role was eliminated because of my salary. Fortunately I was glad to walk away with my severance. I found my time there to be very frustrating and unfulfilling as I was unable to truly gain traction for my ideas within a constantly changing structure and strategy, and with a leadership vacuum.
Cons
Remote workers are not considered for any perks or special events, including celebrations and all staff meetings. The office setup was badly designed for anyone with a role that required intense focus or attention as you could see and hear everyone. Everything was chaotic and vacation time was severely limited. Sick time was nonexistent.
