Pros

In simple terms, this is the place to be. Personally, I've never been happier anywhere else. - This is a well-funded company that is on track for huge growth and for people to grow with it. It's an earlier-stage company but with the work-life balance and benefits of a BigTech company. People are allowed to (and encouraged to) have lives. - The people are incredibly smart and talented, and there are no egos when it comes to managing or working together. Within the engineering team, people are brilliant, helpful, and constructive. You will learn a lot in a short amount of time. - The work is incredibly interesting and rewarding (provided you are at least somewhat curious and interested in commercial real estate), and there are a lot of chances for autonomy (i.e. to work on things you find interesting/challenging). At no point have I ever felt like a cog in a machine. - The company treats its people very well. We have some of the best benefits in the industry (also had in-office perks pre-COVID). When the pandemic began, we had huge support in the shift to remote work. - Worth mentioning that the compensation is very competitive. This company understands how to attract and retain talent

Cons

Nothing I can think of besides the usual pandemic woes (even though this company handled it better than most).

Reonomy Response
5y
Thanks for your feedback on Reonomy and the engineering organization! We’re so happy that your experience has been so positive and rewarding. One of the things we strive for throughout the organization is maintaining the “no-ego mentality” at all levels, and ensuring that the work each individual does is a growth opportunity for them and for the team they work with. Our recent expansions in our Owner Profiles are a great example of the independent work of several engineers over the past year culminating in an exciting product launch. All the while, it is important to us that everyone is comfortable and supported by leadership in their career. Regarding our response to the COVID-19 pandemic and how that affects the overall company experience, we have at times struggled to connect with each other in the same ways as we did before. Our People team has gone to great lengths since the start of 2021 to educate and train managers in ways to be better remote leaders and provide resources to promote further team bonding. We respect that this has been a tough time for all and hope that the improvements mentioned will help us become an even more cohesive and strong team. - Neil Newman, Director of Backend Engineering

Pros

- Great compensation and during non-pandemic times has a fully stocked kitchen and beautiful office. - Excellent company culture, teammates are very intelligent, but humble people who are exceptional collaborators. - Engineering team has multiple well defined levels that make Reonomy a great place for career growth.

Cons

Requires you to get up to speed on the world of commercial real estate if you aren't already

Pros

The negative reviews are fair. If you are poorly performing, management looks at what you do to improve your numbers and not just your revenue. Leaving at 6 on the dot does not help your case. There are reps hat have been given second and third chances because of their work ethic but strong performers are often encouraged to leave early, if anything. I worked at a larger company before that would fire you on strike one, so Reonomy is a breath of fresh air. Pros: - free lunches - fun outings - uncapped commission and almost monthly sales competitions for extra bonuses - all inbound leads - managers who care and want you to succeed - fun sales floor environment, music always on and group lunches - travel for events

Cons

- a lot of changes over the last year, Management/marketing still sorting through so expect changes (for better or worse) but they are always fair about the decisions they make - alot of investor leads
