Pros

This place sucks so bad, 80% of pilot group will get the hell out as soon as possible. Many are taking non flying jobs because this place sucks so bad. You will get PIC time at some point while being treated like absolute crap. You are a number,

Cons

It's actually worse than that. Scheduling will try to schedule you against the contract and then get mad when you "catch" them. There is a negative, screw the pilot culture here. Fly it and grieve it, is what the chief pilot will tell you. Basically, we know we are breaking the contract. Do it anyway and in 2 years, we will give you an extra hour of pay.

Pros

Honestly at this point I can't think of anything

Cons

There is much positive to say our management is the most hostile group of people I have ever worked for. At every turn your paycheck is shorted and your hours cut. First two years I had to get another job just to survive.. I know of three first officers that get food stamps.. my advice go work somewhere else Skywest American Eagle somewhere.

Pros

Absolutely nothing. I wish I could say something different. Everything I was told in the interview/selection process has turned out to be completely false. I do enjoy my days off, which are becoming fewer and fewer.

Cons

Everything, especially the culture (or lack thereof). This place is run as cheap and with as few personnel as possible. The executives roll in the cash (and Ferrari's) while employees, many of which qualify for food stamps, parade around in filthy airplanes with the paint peeling off the sides. People work here because they have to get experience somewhere to get to a major airline. You would be much better off starting in this industry with a place that respects you - like Skywest or ExpressJet. My friends over there realize how truly great they have it when I tell them about my workday here!
