Pros

You get to fly a shiny Jet! The training isn't bad.

Cons

Everything else. Reserve sucks, contract sucks, the schedules suck. Constantly opening and closing bases, forcing pilots and flight attendants to commute. The pay isn't competitive FO's start at $23 and hr and top out at $36 (based on a 75 hr per month guarantee), The pilot contract has been under negotiation since 2007. The health benefit premiums continue to skyrocket each year while the coverage gets worse.

Pros

The only pros are days off.

Cons

Cons are pretty much showing up to work and having to fly dirty airplanes, broken airplanes, work with ghetto FA's, grossly underpaid, and deal with horrible work rules and an old, broken contract.

Pros

.Easy to gain seniority in this company .due to an extremely heavy handed "Termination culture"

Cons

.Poor contract language and union issues . Inflight Employees work in constant fear of losing their job . Ghost riding flights to find a reason to fire flight attendants .Crew scheduling management is immature and inflexible .INflight Management does not respect or support their Flight Attendants . Base Managers look to terminate rather than mentor . Poor use of crews with . Lengthy airport sits . Changing aircraft constantly increasing chances of delays . Delaying maintenance on auxillary power units, APU's, resulting in airplane being uncomfortably warm during boarding . FAA Annual Mandated Recurrent Training often is taught by unqualified Flight Attendants with neither Instructional nor Teaching experience, resulting with incorrect information given to attendees questions .no incentive to stay beyond the fact that seniority is the key to the airline business
