      Pros

      There are some good people to work with that make it fun.

      Cons

      Lack of direction and focus by management . There is no career path, pay is low, and most departments are understaffed and overworked.

      Pros

      It is a place where you either work really hard or you are gone. Hard work is rewarded with great pay and opportunities for advancement. Training and development is abundant and available to all who show interest in participating. It is really a great place to be if you want to build a career and don't mind working your rear end off.

      Cons

      For the same reasons it is terrible if you just want a job. Low achievers, clock watchers, 9-5ers, prima donnas, and poseurs need not apply. I have seen several people get exposed quickly and managed out of a job soon thereafter. HR will protect you for a while, but you will be miserable due to peer pressure and the pace. If you are unwilling to put in long hours and actually produce results, it will be a short stop on your resume.

      Co-workers were great but after the merge, my position was so-called "no longer needed."

      Pros

      It was close to home and a fun place to work. Co-workers were nice & friendly and we all worked well in our team. You were given the information and tools to complete your job and I thought I was an asset, before the merge anyway.

      Cons

      Obviously, since I'm a former employee, I can see where the loyalty rested in the company. Someone else had mentioned it's not WHAT you know but WHO you know to get ahead.
