      Great company to work for, but difficult to move up.

      Pros

      Excellent salary, better than average benefits, ability to relocate, free trash service, stable company, and occassionally get free garbage truck toys & coloring books for kids.

      Cons

      quite a few politics, takes long to move up in the company, and recent acquisition has been a difficult transition. Many employees were laid off as part of the recent acquisition without warning or ability to relocate. Many of the teammates that survived the lay offs were screwed by the lack of prep work & cross training before the lay off.

      Pros

      You get a paycheck...some of the people are great to work with and you can make life-long friends. If you like company logo merchandise, this is the place to work!

      Cons

      Real talent is not appreciated. The HR department is a joke. The entire company is corrupt and dishonest. Competent customer service is non-existant. Don't work here if you have a family as time off is not encouraged. Further educational advancement is encouraged, however, no assistance is provided. Health benefits are provided, however, time off to attend the appointments is discouraged. Interdepartmental drama is extreme and management is unwilling to be involved.

      Pros

      Compensation is somewhat in line with competition. Bonus, if actually achievable, is generous. Although 50% of 0 is still 0.

      Cons

      Company is highly centralized, be it on a Corporate or Regional level. Very little is controlled by the local markets. RSG loves standards, employees can take very little action, must be within the standards.
