Big problem to solve, bigger potential!

Pros

Huge potential to change an industry that has not evolved in the last 50 years. Complicated challenges with even bigger potential for impact are the problems that I enjoy working on. There are lots of interesting problems to solve and the team is filled with smart passionate people. Everyone, from engineering to sales and operations, want to provide the best experience possible to our customers.

Cons

Like many startups I have worked at, there is way more work to do than people to do it. Sometimes we have to live with a less than ideal solution because it is not a big enough problem to fix.

Pros

* Lots of problems left to be solved by software - meaning lots of exciting and meaningful work * Fast moving, you won't feel bored * Great people around * Leadership is driven by result and continues to push the company forward

Cons

* Fast moving - if you are more comfortable with a stable work environment where you can focus and hone on few skill sets then you're probably better off at bigger, more mature companies * Can feel chaotic sometimes because so many problems are still yet unsolved and resource limitation means ruthless prioritization of solutions to these problems (typical growing startup environment)
