Pros

Decent pay, benefits package for TSV Techs.

Cons

There is not equality to move up for Technicians, Engineers and Warehouse Associates. Mgrs have their favorites and they pick based on that not on skill. Upper mgmt has heard complaints and things have not changes. Sexism is high. ATL facility need diversity and cultural sensitivity training and like the entire company. Misleading new hire info for warehouse associates, long hours and short notice when overtime is required.

Thank you for taking the time to provide your feedback. We recognize that our people are the most important contributor for the continued success and growth of the company. We continue to work diligently to ensure we are addressing important issues raised by employees and some key areas that we have worked on recently include: • For promotions we have introduced a skills based roadmap with all interviews being held by panels or multiple individuals, with decisions made only after collective feedback sessions. • We are also working closely with our People team to look at the future structure of the distribution center teams to provide more opportunities for career advancement. • We are proud of the diversity and inclusion we have in Atlanta but know there is always work to do in such an important area. The recent focus groups undertaken by our Belonging, Inclusion and Diversity (BIDS) team is an example of how we are continuing the conversation. They will be reporting back their findings and next steps to the Atlanta team in August. • On overtime, the nature of our operations do mean that, from time to time, we have to use unscheduled overtime hours to ensure we meet the needs of our customers. We are working with our agency to ensure that all contingent workers are made aware of this requirement prior to appointment. Again, thank you for taking the time to share your comments but let’s keep the conversation going. As such, I would like to encourage you to reach out to me directly or our dedicated ethics hotline to discuss your concerns further.

Pros

Great campus, good pay, interesting products and work

Cons

Learning and development is almost non-existant. There is no encouragement or budget for external training. Instead very mediocre internal trainings are available. HR is also invisible. I've never seen someone from HR since my first day on the job. No culture of continous improvement. Beautiful campus but completely under ultilized. Campus is very far from the city, so expect long commutes if you want to live near/in Sydney Expensive and poor quality food at the on site cafetaria. The company is expanding rapidly overseas, whereas at sydney it feels like people are just being made redundant and no growth is occuring here.

Thank you for taking the time to write a review about working at ResMed. We are proud of our innovative work and agree that our products and Bella Vista campus are pretty special. We have acknowledged that our learning and development programs have historically had a particular focus on regulatory compliance and soft skills and recently have begun to invest in developing an engineering capability development platform. This new platform was launched in our patient interface team last year. We are in the process of rolling this platform out further amongst our other product development teams throughout this calendar year. Sydney is a very large spread out city and situating an innovation hub is always going to be a balancing act. We have employees coming from all areas of Sydney and surrounding areas and with the arrival of the new Hills Metro line there are many options available to make our campus more accessible. We also rolled out a new flexible work program late last year. The Bella Vista campus is an important global hub in our research and development footprint and will continue to generate exciting products that make millions of patient’s lives better into the future. I invite you to reach out to me to discuss these concerns in more detail. I also encourage you to reach out to your People Business Partner if you haven’t yet had the opportunity to meet with them. Best Regards Mark Buckley VP Product Development - Sleep
