Pros
My experience at Resource Data has been a dream come true. Several years ago, I traded a high-stress, high-paying job with a rigid schedule for an opening on the Resource Data team. I haven't looked back since! I now work at a company that strives to have happy, productive employees, provides career growth opportunities, holds frequent company events, gives back to the community, and allows me to flex my schedule. Sick pets? Visiting relatives? Spontaneous camping plans? Want to work from home? No problem.
Much of an individual's experience at a company depends on the relationship that they have with their boss and coworkers. I can't praise my boss and team enough! My boss has cultivated a group that works well together, is supportive, respectful, and infinitely helpful. It means the world to me to work with people who love what they do at a company that cares about its employees.
Cons
I've heard that the pay isn't always as high as other places. To me, the salary that I make is well worth the job satisfaction and flexible schedule. That said, management listens to its employees and recently added a paid holiday to our calendar (the day after Thanksgiving) at the urging of its employees. How cool is that?
