Management not good
Pros
Great pens, nice holiday parties, decent benefits. Remote work is always a plus.
Cons
Very isolating company structure, never felt comfortable or able to reach out for support or report issues with my manager (harassment, inappropriate conduct) to leaders above. Overall the contract I supported felt very forgotten about as so much of the company now does IT, and poor behavior and temper tantrums by leaders was the norm and rewarded with promotions. Felt like there was no room for growth and the requirements and responsibilities were frequently shuffled and added to with no additional compensation or consideration. Management would cold call at any hour regardless of a teams status so it often felt impossible to accomplish things with the constant anxiety of being interrupted.
