The building is gorgeous and the coworkers are friendly. I always felt like it was clear where I needed to go in order to get good answers to do my job well. The PTO was generous.

Cons

Management will break before they bend, don't expect your ideas to be heard if they conflict with your constantly shifting leadership. Every person carries the responsibility of two jobs. If there is a shortcut that can be taken, this company will always take it. Promotions are infrequent, especially if you are doing a job that cannot be easily replaced.

Pros

Encouraging and fun boots on the ground and developers.

Cons

Management is overbearing with an extreme lack of vision for products. Decisions are frequently made despite protests from a variety of people more knowledgeable. Will crunch developers for months, lie to them about goals, then do huge and sudden layoffs.

Pros

Startup company feel but stable, solid growth. A lot of opportunity for product development and employee growth. Recognization and compensation for hard work. Provided catered lunch twice a month, Access to onsite fitness center, Encourage team building activities. Spirits are high throughout whole company, happy people. Developers involved with planning from the early stages and have the autonomy to make decisions. Learning is encouraged, subscription to PluralSight and developers get to attend KCDC.

Cons

Highest priorities change often. Product stakeholders not as heavily involved. PTO isn't competitive, starting a new job also means starting over on PTO even if you have a lot of experience.
