      Pros

      Great variation in work, including a lot of fun videos to caption. Very flexible in when you work; it's completely up to you how much or how little you do. You are completely freelance, but there's support to help when needed.

      Cons

      Pay is appalling, especially in the UK because of the dollar-to-pound conversion rate. It's okay if you can type fast and get good videos to work on, but at the beginning, you will need to be slower for accuracy, and there are regularly periods of time when the file choice is bad. It's a lot of sitting around, refreshing the page, waiting for work to come in. The community forums can be toxic, yet you're expected to use them for certain advice.
