Pros

I just completed my 10 week training, and I'd just like to shout out my manager for his excellent work as a trainer. I came into the program with very little knowledge about programming, and I feel waaay more confident in a variety of different technologies from front to back.

Cons

Because of my lack of experience, I had to put in a lot of time after hours to keep up on projects and work on my coding skills.

Pros

Great place to meet others like you, either fresh college graduates or experienced worker, and have fun at learning on the job.

Cons

I had to wear a fully formal business suit, which I am more comfortable dressing business casuals.

Pros

I gained a lot from the training in areas that my degree didn't cover. For example I learned about Agile development in college, but I learned so much more by actually doing daily standups and learning to work in teams of varying sizes. Getting trained in a full tech stack just adds so much more context than classes in individual languages, so for me this has been a great option to transition from education to starting to get experience.

Cons

I think the pace will be too fast for people who have no previous programming experience. It's great that they give so many people a chance, and if you get let go for not being able to keep up you don't own anything back, but I could see someone feeling mislead if they come into this with no programming knowledge and ended up overwhelmed because they thought it would be easier.
