If you make it here, you can make it anywhere in the tech industry. You will learn enough to equal 2 years of industry experiance. First year pay is higher than entry level.

Cons

You start off with minimum wage for the first 3 months. It is DIFFICULT to finish, you will almost have to spend at least 3 hours extra every day.

A Second Chance

Pros

As someone with two college degrees this program gave me the opportunity to finally start a career. Having been serving tables for 7 years I had started to give up on finding a career that would carry me through the rest of my life. Then I found the Revature Hiring event. Having an interest in technology I went and checked it out. If you have no experience in tech prior to looking into the company, they offer an online pretraining program to give some generalized background on programming. Having completed the 13 weeks training I now feel more than capable of tackling anything that would be asked of me onsite. The best skill to have is an ability to teach yourself something quickly and this program definitely gives you that capability.

Cons

The program is intense so expect to be frustrated at times. You can't pick which technology you are going to learn but if you are interested in technology then you'll learn the skills to teach yourself the other technologies you will want to learn in the future.
