      My time at Revature

      Pros

      Hands on training that is applicable to the real world. Trainers know the content that they are covering and are able to answer questions and if they cannot, then they know how to find answers. Practice with technical interview questions skills

      Cons

      Had poor communication about internal affairs. 1.) Half of my batch got released from their contract because the anchor client reduced expected opportunities. 2.) Anchor client was changed at the end of training You are locked into a two year contract with Revature that will most likely require you to move to their client

      - Remote - 40 hours a week

      Cons

      - Inexperienced trainers - Disorganized - Miscommunications were a daily to even hourly occurrence.

      Can be solid if going into Tech without background but do not bother applying for 4-6 months.

      Pros

      -Trainer was good and patient especially if you are relatively new to coding or have not had experience with IDE's used -Will take nearly anyone with a bachelors degree regardless of field if you are willing to learn

      Cons

      -Will have to work 5-10 hours each week outside of training time which is unpaid -Is currently letting people go without notice in large numbers -May have a tech stack that you do not want to learn (Java vs C++ etc...) -Do not get to pick job destination (do not love where you are currently)
