Many colleagues are brightest in the industry.

Cons

Leadership is lacking across organization. After several acquisitions, the company seems to be top heavy with ineffective leaders who are not empowered to make necessary decisions to keep the company progressing forward and maintain talent to support customers. I am uncertain of the future of this company as there seems to be some very shady behavior going on.

Pros

The people who actually do the work building the products are great people who deserve better.

Cons

Lack of transparency and communication, full top-down leadership, lots of promises of how things are going to change for the better but absolutely nothing is done to change anything. Additionally, when compared to the industry standard, the benefits are not good.

- extra pay for being in office - breakfast or lunch provided 2x week

Cons

- in office 5 days/week for Chicago-based employees, if part of an acquisition then you can work from home - push for being in office, but then all meetings are via zoom and you don't necessarily sit next to the people on your team - strange obsession with zoom backgrounds and LinkedIn profiles - no equity or bonus compensation - company is growing through acquisition instead of organically - sometimes hard to get work done due to lack of processes and access to systems
