Pros

Spent many good years working on meaningful projects for happy customers.

Cons

Then Reveal ruined it. They also mucked up international labor laws which provided some entertainment. Just a completely unserious company pretending they know what they are doing

Pros

- extra pay for being in office - breakfast or lunch provided 2x week

Cons

- in office 5 days/week for Chicago-based employees, if part of an acquisition then you can work from home - push for being in office, but then all meetings are via zoom and you don't necessarily sit next to the people on your team - strange obsession with zoom backgrounds and LinkedIn profiles - no equity or bonus compensation - company is growing through acquisition instead of organically - sometimes hard to get work done due to lack of processes and access to systems

Pros

The best I can come up with, is that they have funding

Cons

3 weeks into being part of an acquisition, the only interaction with the actual Reveal company, is to get called into meetings to make sure our Zoom backgrounds, MS Teams backgrounds, and our LinkedIn backgrounds are the approved images. I don't have a problem using a background for Zoom meetings (even if the purpose is to remind you that you are replaceable with anyone willing to have the same background), I have a major issue with HR reviewing my LinkedIn profile and sending messages about not having the Reveal background on my personal account. If you choose not to update your background, you are told it will have negative impact on your career. A 1 billion dollar acquisition, hundreds of new employees, the most important thing is LinkedIn banners.
