Pros

The company offers great opportunities for growth and personal development. If you’re proactive and willing to demonstrate your capabilities, you can really carve out your path and achieve your career goals here.

Cons

I believe our company could benefit from enhanced communication between departments. Improving this aspect would not only streamline our processes but also foster better collaboration and understanding across teams, helping us all work more efficiently towards our shared goals.

Fantastic Place to Work

Pros

Since leaving a career in litigation and being nervous about taking the leap in-house, Reworld is the best place I could have landed and continues to exceed my expectations. One of the biggest pros is the Company's spirit of collaboration and *actual* adherence to its values. There is an expectation that team members will work across their functions to achieve common goals in a respectful and innovative way -- which is reflected in almost every aspect of the business from Facility Workers to the Executive Leadership Team. I find it easy to work with members of other functions (even outside specific legal issues) and feel that my opinion has always been valued. Another pro, specific to the Legal department, is the comradery between myself and my colleagues. While my litigation practice area was quite specialized, at Reworld, I have had many opportunities to learn new practice areas -- due in large part to the team's willingness to impart knowledge from industry experience and their willingness to involve me in relevant projects. Best yet, the team is supportive of my personal endeavors and make it a point to check in with me to make sure that my work-life balance is the best it can be. As a lawyer, it can be nerve wrecking to leave firm life for the uncertainty of corporate counsel life, but my coming here was well worth it. Finally, it is worth mentioning that the Executive Leadership Team (C-Suite folks) are pretty accessible for a Company of this size. On any given day, you could run into (and have real conversations with) the CEO or other executives, who all seem to make it a point to be familiar with employees on a personal level and take employee thoughts/concerns seriously. In my entire career - which includes organizations of Reworld's size - I don't think I've ever been able to access leaders in this way (much less have them remember details of my life). That sort of authenticity, plus knowing that my work has value and is seen by leaders outside my direct function, is very motivating and encouraging.

Cons

One con is the Company's turnover. It can be challenging to lose coworkers on both a professional and personal level, which may occassionally lead to operational gaps or stretching other employees to full capacity to cover the gaps. Even so, the impact of this is pretty minor compared to my overall experience.
