Pros

high salary generous targeted bonuses very good 401k, $ for $ match up to 6% of salary generous relocation package opportunities for professional development good corporate communication

Cons

declining industry unclear career future, due to regulatory and political unknowns long history of declining workforce/layoffs, not likely to change association with tobacco industry not helpful for career moves terrible manager, apparently immune to correction by upper management smoking occurs everywhere, even though it is supposed to be prohibited in labs and elevators
