Toxic Culture

Pros

Glamourous company selling luxury jewellery and watches. Staff purchase access (only after probation)

Cons

Massively toxic culture - staff are always expected to work overtime every day. Management cares about face time in this Covid/post-Covid era. Even when staff down with Covid, still expect staff to work at home. No room for promotion for asians, if you are a westerner (white skin), only then you will get an CHANCE.

Pros

- Staff discounts - Office location - Most colleagues are friendly

Cons

- Long working hours - expect to work late almost everyday. - Even though you're on leave, there's an unsaid expectation to still check and respond to emails and work whilst you're on leave. Bosses also still send multiple emails whilst they are on leave. - Maisons treat support function teams like dirt - too much politics across all maisons and MDs. - Systems still quite manual, processes sometimes not clear. - Most of middle to senior management are of a certain race and nationality.
