Even though we strive to be competitive when it comes to compensation and benefits, we sometimes lose team members looking for a new challenge. We are working on additional learning and development strategies that will further develop our workforce and motivate them to stay at Richter for years to come.

Hiring professional and responsible team members means our flexible environment works and we are incredibly proud of having outstanding talent at the firm – each one contributing to a great culture! Our leaders are certainly top of their field and want to hear from everyone so that we create a culture of innovation and inclusion. While we do have an excellent annual bonus program, we understand we could be better at recognising the accomplishments of our team members on a more regular and consistent basis. This year, we have placed an emphasis on people manager training and communication to encourage our managers to use a variety of recognition methods on a day to day basis. Our Professional Development training programs for CPA’s are better in some divisions than in others. We have a lens on this situation and are working to address it. We also hear you about our group benefits plan and the HR Team is taking a closer look at more competitive programs.
