Pros
Having worked at Rigetti about a year, I am writing this review to offer an alternative view from some of the more negative accounts written on this site. The company I have experienced is a welcoming, positive environment filled with people who are passionate about their work and motivated to bring something new into the world. Over the past year, I have noticed a significant improvement in back office functions like finance, HR, and recruiting. They were fine when I started, but have clearly settled into a good rhythm now. The executive team is stable and focused - the company has clear goals ahead of it for the year with combination of internal R&D and backlog of client-driven work. Chad, as CEO, remains passionate about his company and will tenaciously work to solve the whatever the biggest strategic issue facing the company at the time. Sometimes this means his attention is elsewhere for a while, but I have seen him consistently make decisions that are in the best interests of the company as a whole. I have never once personally witnessed the kind of negative behavior reported in other reviews.
Cons
The company is now spread out across multiple sites, so it's a little difficult to get to know everyone Quantum computing is hard and the company needs to be capital efficient with its venture funding so some of the luxuries of high-revenue companies aren't available
