Pros

Working with children is a rewarding thing. That's about the only pro.

Cons

Every bed meeting is a staffing emergency. Pay is awful. Turnover is high. So many new grads which leaves few experienced nurses to mentor and teach. I've been here 6 years and make about $1.35 more than new hires. The network has terminated over 100 job positions to consolidate their regions. Low incentive pay for extra work. Poor raises. Low appreciation for floor staff. Multiple medical services have fallen to such low standards. People use to want to work here so badly that you couldnt get your foot in the door. Now it's a borderline joke.
