Rio Tinto has been wonderful to work for thus far! This is one of the few mining companies putting up lot of resources to change its culture, focusing on everyday respect principles and values. The company is very transparent with both negative and positive shares surrounding their reputation. The people and leadership are easy to work with, inclusive in every way possible. The pay and benefits are well above industry standard from what I've seen and experienced. PTO is very generous for new people AND for experienced personnel hired in. All previous related work experience is counted and applied toward your 20 year week increase. In my 20 years in the this field, Rio Tinto is by far the best company I've worked for.
