Pros

Very diverse set of people. Working in a global commercial location in a multinational firm has its usual advantages of getting exposure to diversity and cultural richness. Challenging work environment allows you to enjoy a steep learning curve at work. The working standards of people around you are very high.

Cons

Lack of adequate development opportunities. Alot of focus on 'serving time' in junior positions. The hierarchy within procurement function is too steep. Lack of decision making power at junior levels does not come as a surprise given it's a multinational company. High impetus on a 'serious' than a 'sincere' work culture.

Pros

Great company to work for - great prospects for promotion and travel - if you work hard and are dedicated.

Cons

Can be difficult to navigate a large company - build networks locally and internationally - this will help hugely.
