Probably one of the worst companies to join as a software engineer

Pros

- Good pay is the only thing i think of

Cons

Monolithic repo with no standard engineering practices. All 500+ engineers work on the same monolith and the company just cares about new features. There are multiple incidents everyday and the number will only grow with the bad engineering practices at play. The middle management throws software engineers under the bus when there are any incidents. Overall a bad place if you value your mental peace or if you want to grow as an engineer.

- My manager is very kind, understanding, and hands-off. Let's me take responsibility and drive things. - Greater team is also great. - Company financials and goals shared internally every month, makes it very clear how the company is doing - Positive outlook for growth - Compensation's solid

Cons

- Perhaps the stock will be worthless (?) but that's just how startups go - For Software Engineering: Some internal things just aren't that mature, but 1) it's not a huge deal and 2) it's always getting better

Get to work with some of the smartest, most caring, dedicated individuals. Work hard play hard mentality. Everyone’s ideas are listened to and even a low man on the totem pole can make an impact.

Cons

There can seasonally (Q4) be some long days, but that comes with most companies.
