Pros

- Great teammates, highly collaborative environment - Trusted to do my job without micromanagement - Above market comp, high potential for financial windfall - Transparent leadership. Lots of company-wide meetings and opportunities to interact with executives

Cons

- Benefits aren't all there but that comes with a growing startup... they'll get better over time - Working across global time-zones has its challenges, but that's the norm with a global workforce - It's a hypergrowth startup. Things will change, there will be more fun days than chaotic days. You know what you signed up for and roll with the punches. If you can thrive in that environment, you'll succeed and enjoy the ride

Pros

- Most of my peers are friendly - product with potential - work with some really smart people (but I question those in management roles specially in the support team)

Cons

- higher ups are condescending, rude, and will belittle you including the ceo - supervisors do not like to help you, rarely responds to your questions and leave you hanging for days. Basically expects you to figure it out yourself and overall complete lack of support - peers are not likely to help you because they are too busy just as you will be (not their fault at all) - they set unrealistically high expectations for solve goals considering the product has so many bugs and not enough engineers to support - work environment is chaotic everyday, expected to sign in early and sign off late without OT, or you might be required to work through breaks and lunch. also, we are micromanaged by inexperienced managers - they only provide two weeks high level overview training of the software and throw you to the wolves after - I was told during my interview that quality of work is more important than quantity, however that is not true at all. They work us to the the ground and caused such a high urgency culture… Like someone else mentioned, HR should investigate this! - higher up keeps applying pressure and will not accept feedback. Working here has caused a lot of emotional and mental stress. They do not care. I confirmed this with my peers and they feel just as same! - many of us were hired to work 100% remote and now being forced to work in office… while Covid and monkey pox cases increase. we were baited since this is a remote role stated in our offer letter! No exceptions will be made and no commuter benefits, not even an increase in compensation to account for the commute. another example to show that they do not care about their employees. - overall benefit package is below industry standards - they want us to continue learning by completing several training modules but will not allot time for it. How will we grasp all this information? Are we suppose to study it off the clock? I refuse, it is not worth the stress and strain on my mental health. All in all, I wish I never left my old job and accepted a pay cut for rippling. I had intentions to work long term with the company due to their rapid growth but I am disappointed by so much that has transpired.
