Pros

Rippling stands out as a company that truly values and nurtures the potential of its employees. From the moment I joined, I was given substantial responsibilities that pushed me to learn and grow. Initially focused on building design systems, I found myself gradually entrusted with more complex and impactful projects. For example, I played a key role in developing a date-time library and a translation framework, both of which are crucial for our product's functionality and scalability. This kind of exposure is unparalleled and has significantly enhanced my skill set. The learning curve is steep, but it is incredibly rewarding. The trust and autonomy given to employees encourage innovation and ownership, making every project a valuable learning experience.

Cons

Rippling could benefit from improving its mentorship programs, especially for senior employees. While the environment is conducive to self-driven learning, having structured mentorship and guidance would further enhance the experience.

Pros

- Rippling really encourages you to think outside the box. If you’ve got ideas and want to make an impact, this is the place to be. - You get to pitch your ideas, plan them out, and run with them. It's awesome seeing your projects come to life. - You’ll grow a lot here, not just in your technical skills but also in managing projects and pushing them through the company. - You can always chat with colleagues and managers about problems, even though you’re expected to solve them on your own.

Cons

- Sometimes it feels like you're on your own with big responsibilities, which can be tough if you're not used to it. - Some parts of Rippling are still being developed, so you need to be ready to learn and do a bit of everything. - The company is super careful with money. You might need to build your own tools or really justify why you need to buy something. It’s challenging but pushes you to be creative.

Pros

Undoubtedly, Rippling provides rapid career advancement and excellent career opportunities. Bright minds all around. Competitive compensation and benefits.

Cons

Since the company has expanded quickly, your impact could be disregarded if you don't speak up and employ strategic methods. I have heard of work-life issues, but I have rarely experienced it. However, it can be true for other teams.
