Pros

Rippling has built an amazing platform for payroll, HR, IT, and Finance. There's not really another system out there that can compete. It's a modern intuitive platform and Rippling is growing like crazy which provides the opportunity for career advancement.

Cons

Unfortunately, it seems like Rippling doesn't truly care about the employees. Not saying the don't care at all, but employees don't seem to be the focus on this organization.

Pros

I think Rippling is a special company doing something special in the industry. We're building a business that builds businesses. It's pretty awesome to launch a new product and country each quarter. Also, the company is doing really well – high sales growth, low customer churn, lots of hiring, lots of products shipping. So that's good. The pros / cons on this for each team are a bit different. But for every team, it means that the system is constantly being shocked with new challenges and opportunities for personal growth and career advancement. For my team, one of the directors put together a promotions and career path presentation at SKO and there were 25 historical promotions and internal transitions on a team of 52 people. Beyond career opportunities that comes from the company growth, a few other pros from my experience: * We use our own product. * You will have friends and family that use our product. * We work with smart, driven people. * We play music at the start of Zoom meetings while waiting for everyone to join. * We have a high-responsibility culture. There's very little blame-gaming. * Our leadership team is both super deep in the details and strategically planning the next two years. * My org has great Confluence documentation and onboarding. * Leadership shares company metrics and updates every month. * My manager cares about my personal success and happiness. * I have clear success metrics for my role.

Cons

Hard. Not a fit for everyone. In my experience, no team has "take it easy" roles. Every team at Rippling is regularly challenged to do more, solve a bigger problem, support more customers at a higher level of service, ship faster, reduce product bugs or downtime, lower operating costs, launch a new product, etc. Even when giving it 100%, you will sometimes – maybe frequently – fail at your job at Rippling. This is either a bug or a feature based on what you're looking for. You may find this a bug if ... * you're looking for a job-job that you can give 80% effort and get by. * you get frustrated and upset when when things go wrong and need to be fixed. * you say you want to be in a growth mindset, but you actually hate to frequently struggle and fail. * you hate to have to make work-life trade-offs when you're behind on work.
