Pros

- After working at late stage companies with endless internal politics and bureaucracy, Rippling is exactly what I wanted. No games, micromanaging, jockeying for power/credit (everyone’s too busy doing actual work) - I’ve never been more empowered to do my job as I see fit and take on as much responsibility as I can handle - Experienced, down-to-earth leadership who make themselves totally accessible. No EAs, you just go to their desks and talk to them - No a**holes or ego (CEO personally handles customer support tickets) - just a bunch of super talented, friendly people working like crazy to create a world-class product and company - The culture is easygoing, mature, and drama-free

Cons

- No “rest and vest” here! Everyone works exceptionally hard. If you’re looking for a 10-4 job, go elsewhere - They don’t have the next level perks you get at bigger companies (although there’s still unlimited vacation, catered lunch, etc) - Lack of established processes - you have to create them as you go to get stuff done - Extremely frugal. Undoubtedly a good thing for the company overall, but you’ll be expected to make do with fewer resources than you need

Pros

the grind teaches you a lot about sales and how to work hard.

Cons

Keep increasing KPI's and quota to an unattainable level and then wonder why people are getting burnt out and dropping like flies. Upper management is so far removed from the work the SDR's actually do and what actually works for us and they think increasing numbers will motivate us more. Sad situation. It's a grind to even get near quota. They also lie about wanting to promote from within, it is completely out of reach and they dangle it in people's faces so don't believe them when they tell you that in interviews.

Pros

Nice people, autonomy, good budget to work with.

Cons

The work-life “balance” is 80% work, 20% life. Do not work here if you want to have a life outside of this job. Rippling works you to death and doesn’t pay quite enough to make it worth it (or have that great of benefits - especially for being an HR tech company…?).
