Pros

The culture at the Ritz-Carlton surrounding how they view their employees and the empowerment they are given is amazing, We are Ladies and Gentlemen serving Ladies and Gentlemen, we are the best of the best. The employees are properly compensated and recognized for their hard work. It makes you proud to be Ritz-Carlton and you live and breath it. When I got my job it was the pinnacle of my career.

Cons

As with most companies, it comes down to local management who run the property poorly. The property is mostly staffed with international students who are worked like dogs. Long hours, good employees are overworked while useless ones are promoted out of nepotism. Special high paying positions are created for the friends and family of the upper management team for them to just sit around collect a paycheck while those who worked hard to be there are overlooked, used up and discarded.
