Pros

Onboarding and ongoing training, lateral transfer opportunities, salaries for management positions, team work

Cons

Leadership inconsistency (from one property to another), lack of support from regional offices. Regional teams are overloaded and cannot provide individual attention, while luxury brands require constant support with clear branding guidelines. The re-structuration following the merger with Starwood came at great cost for individual brands and properties who lost brand-specific teams with their expertise and knowledge.
