Pros

Genuinely great coworkers to work with. Employees there are happy to show you what they are doing Co workers are easy to get along with in the office since everyone is new.

Cons

Poor people management by managers, they say something and mean another Overtime is not given even though people are coming at you at all hours of the day, CEO has emailed the entire company around midnight. Poor work-life balance.

Pros

Some people are nice. The vehicles are well designed.

Cons

There is a lack of knowledgeable leadership. The company feels extremely unstable due to multiple layoffs (most never announced), severe budget cuts, and lack of direction. This is a bro culture to the max; if you play politics well but don’t know how to do your job, you’ll go far. Women and minorities are unfairly treated and seen as a threat. This is an automotive company, not a tech company. If you want to see people give their life, sacrificing their overall well-being and time with family, for the benefit of a company that will have no problem cutting them at the first opportunity, consider Rivian. If you want policies and procedures stand true for some but not all, work at Rivian. If you want to be told there is great opportunity, only to find out it’s a Game of Thrones land grab, work at Rivian.

Toxic work environment

Pros

Taking away hard lessons for what to look for as red flags in future job opportunities . I’m currently looking to leave and there are many red flags here to learn from

Cons

Where to begin? a lot of toxic people, a facade of brand values that management doesn’t really stand behind, employee discrimination and harassment is perpetuated, no work life balance and unqualified talent. Real talent will, and should, run away fast. Also, HR and management will turn a blind eye to mistreatment of employees
