      Survived for Several Years Despite Crappy Company Culture

      Pros

      Great for single-minded, money-oriented individuals--the potential to make good bucks is definitely there. Good first-time training recipe for telephone-sales approach and recruitment practices.

      Cons

      Role model leaders are few and far between. Senior management protect each other due to the high salaries they have become accustomed to off the backs of the front-liners, and justify poor management practices (bullying & disrespect) or simply just pretend not to see. This is a company with high turnover giving the high-revenue generating salespeople tremendous "power" over management.

      Pros

      I'm surrounded by the best in the business. Earning potntial is unlimited and not throttled because you exceeded expectations.

      Cons

      Sales and account management is a difficult career track but you get out of it what you put into it.

      Fast paced--must learn quickly

      Pros

      I was a receptionist for Robert Half (NOT as a temp, or through OfficeTeam). I enjoyed the friendly work environment and quick pace of the work. I also appreciated the large company's resources (after working exclusively for small businesses).

      Cons

      The company will cut positions where needed, which is what ended up happening to myself and another receptionist. It was nothing negative, but I suspect that in order to make it in a higher position (such as recruiter), one must adapt quickly or get cut.
