Pros

Unlimited earning potential if you are a strong performer. However, really no other compensation other than basic benefits. Limited employee savings plans, holidays, flex or sick days. Excellent training programs Modern software - updated database and use of Surface tablets Brand recognition in the market Administrative support

Cons

Micro-managing culture - regardless of how large your book of business is or how senior you are, they continue to manage based on metrics. They have a very low tolerance for anyone requiring flexibility for personal or family reasons. The needs of the business trump your needs as an employee. The advice they provide to clients in terms of offering flexible work arrangements and non-monetary ways of rewarding employees are not followed behind closed doors. They don't walk the walk. Highly competitive and catty sales culture within and between lines of business, and you are rewarded financially for adopting this behaviour. No flexibility towards clients - either pay their rates or become a recruiting source for them. Very transactional mindset towards candidates - no incentive to help people with their careers. You can either make money off of a candidate or toss them to the side. Management either lacks the training or ability to have meaningful performance conversations, and there is no formal HR support if you are having an issue with your leader.

Pros

If you want to work in recruitment work at Robert Half as they give you amazing training, tools and those that do well are rewarded very well.

Cons

Turn over is awful, management favour only the people they like. KPIs are sometimes unrealistic and restrict consultants from doing their actual job. Lack of trust within organisation.

Cons

Drugs - shockingly higher useage and blind eyes turned. This is going back several years now so may well have changed now. I hope so.
