Pros

- great work-life balance, not required to work overtime

Cons

-RH recruiters will talk down to you and try to correct you even though they are not finance/accounting experts. It's specially embarrassing when they do this in front of the client and the recruiter is wrong. - With decades of experience at a director and controller level, I was placed in an entry level position. RH fails at matching skillset with opportunities. I've reached out to several RH consultants and have heard several stories about mismatched placement. -Lack of professionalism in the RH office. When organizations ask me about which placement agency to use, I cannot recommend Robert Half even though I'd get a bonus for referral. I will recommend both CV Partners and Two Degrees. - Lots of paperwork for a placement company, more than others in the Seattle area. The staff at RH misplaced my electronic paperwork and I had to complete hours of paperwork again. -My user profile was setup incorrectly resulting in not being able to access timesheets, benefits, resources, etc.

Pros

Managers are flexible with schedule. Understanding with sick time and time off. Good location. Good CRM (salesforce) Give you a tablet while you work there.

Cons

No management. When the manager was there, very checked out. Training. NONE. Here is a handbook is about as good as it gets. They will tell you anything to bring you onboard. And then once you’re onboard it all changes. Everything you were told turns out to be completely not the truth. Never been taken advantage of in a job than I did at Robert Half.

Pros

Free coffee and cake for birthdays/anniversary celebrations

Cons

No work life balance, management will get angry if you leave for lunch or take any personal time off even if you use vacation days. Upper management is so disconnected from the day to day, however when they come to visit everyone dresses up and acts professional. Upper management also thinks cursing and yelling at employees or threatening them is the best way to motivate. The do it or else we'll find someone who will mentality is very real. The turnover in this place is crazy. If someone has made it a year, that is considered a long tenure. Most leave after 6 months or are fired. They fire employees without any warning and at the drop of a hat and then laugh about it later. Firing an employee and over 100% turnover is a direct reflection of a failure in management.
