The Creative Group has an amazing turnover rate somewhere near 80% in the first year with Permanent side Recruiting Managers having to earn $30,000 in sales in the 90 day training period, in order to earn commissions in the first 3 months. At the start of your 4th month, the compensation turns to a 100% recoverable draw in which, if you haven't already sold $30,000 worth in your first 3 months, you actually have to pay that back, before future commissions can be earned. Thus, it's possible to not earn any commissions in the first 6 months, but still remain employed. This, is not discussed during the job interview/employment negotiation period. Nor, is any reference to 'turnover' ever discussed. You are initially told it's a "recoverable draw" but only after the first 90 days. What you're not told is that you need to sell $30,000 in the first 90 days to have that go into effect. If you don't, all sales after month 3, go to pay back whatever draw you were paid in your first 90 days. It's actually possible to work almost 9 months and never earn a cent of commission, while not only generating successfully filled job orders, but also placing candidates in your co-workers' jobs. Again, none of this is discussed up front during the interview process.
