Pros
Company is fairly generous with PTO. While many culture carriers have left, some great and decent people remain and I met lot's of awesome, intelligent people during my time here. I was also blessed with great managers and direct teammates throughout my tenure.
Cons
I joined prior to GME and the company going public and it's sad to see how it all ended up. What was once a place filled with starry-eyed passionate people focused on the mission of democratizing finance, Robinhood has turned into just another corporation that works it's employees to the bone for peanuts. The culture has deteriorated completely, and nobody really seems to enjoy working here anymore. Leadership has made one disastrous decision after another, we don't have a true north star and the company is completely rudderless. While Robinhood obviously has no control over the macro environment and what has transpired in the economy, we haven't executed properly on anything that we do still have control over. It's sad to see what was such a happy company filled with so much potential end up this way. The decline of Robinhood and the executive mismanagement and poor decisions that have wiped out tens of billions of shareholder value need to be studied in classes and written about in business books about how not to handle a promising business.
