Pros

Experience Density: You’ll be exposed to a massive volume of projects in a very short time. Comp & Benefits: The financial upside and "experience per hour" are significant. Early Career Launchpad: Good for those who want to build a resume quickly and don't mind a lack of structure.

Cons

The "Start-Stop" Cycle: Initiatives are launched and killed so rapidly that meaningful progress is rare. It’s common to see 10+ initiatives die before they ever have a chance to impact the business. Cultural Exhaustion: The constant pivots aren't just inefficient; they’re draining. No one knows what’s next, which leaves the team feeling frustrated and perpetually "on edge." Leadership & Agency: Executive leadership changes constantly because senior talent isn't given the agency to lead. Most decisions are reactive—driven by CEO anxiety rather than a stable product roadmap. Technical Debt: You’ll build on "rotten" infrastructure where speed is the only metric that matters, leading to a "hope-based" data strategy.

Pros

- Office Perks - GKO (Global Kick Off) every year at desirable resort locations (Texas, Bahamas) - Working with talented individuals that you can learn from

Cons

- Management is often clueless about the people they're evaluating and performing reviews upon. They don't interact or work with you on a personal level but have no qualm talking about what your performance is expected to be or what your character is like. You can expect your career evaluation to be total theater where the final result is often disappointing without any transparency or oversight into the decisions. - Career ladder is entirely pointless - the company goes into such detail about what the criteria for success is, but reading it is a waste of time because the main focus for career progression is output, nothing else. In fact, I would argue that output isn't as important as conveying to the team that you work with that what you're doing is "essential" and "important". Work at Rokt is definitely political. - You could literally use AI to do your job and get promoted because the outputs are flashy and visual but do not provide any substance for the company at scale. Management misses the mark on this and they wonder why they're missing their revenue targets. - Hiring freeze: listen, you can hire a bunch of new university graduates to do the work, but don't be surprised that the output has gone significantly down because the actual productive hires are spending too much time babysitting the rest of the team. If Rokt was genuinely concerned about employee retention they should just hire competent people to do the work instead of discriminating against age and experience.

Pros

Free lunch and annual trip, some people are nice outside of work It's great if you are from Australia, you definitely get a huge leg up

Cons

So many senior and / or talented people have left in the past few months. Management takes zero responsibility in failed GTM strategy or product investments, the answer to everything is unless reorgs ICs who work very hard do not really get recognition. Mid managers spend a lot of time brown nosing the leadership but do not know how to mentor their teams
