Pros

I've worked at Rokt for just under 9 months. And what I love about working here is that it really feels like family - we have the most amazing team who are all very passionate about what they do, and who genuinely want to help each other out. I love being surrounded by people who inspire me to do my best, and I'm lucky to feel that way each and every day here. I'm someone who wholeheartedly loves what I do, and finding a place that just 'fits' is such a great feeling. I love working at Rokt.

Cons

I'm a perfectionist and I love stretching myself so I'm probably my own worst enemy here; but the hours are very long and the expectations are high - so the work life balance is definitely something that could be looked at.

Pros

Free Lunch & Snacks Cool Coworkers Swag Challenging Work/Projects

Cons

1) Terrible transparency from senior leadership. Everything is discussed behind closed doors but not communicated to the actual team in a timely fashion. Definitely a bit of a boys club at the top. The many elephants in the room are never actually discussed. 2) If you’re interested in career progression, this is not the place for you. You are consistently undervalued and under leveled. You could be on the same level (salary) as someone with half your experience and expertise and have to consistently prove why you deserve promotions. Promotion opportunities are highlighted as a positive in the interview process, but are actually extremely hard to get. If you’re not “in” with the leaders of your team, don’t even think about getting promoted before 2 years of employment . You can write a 10 page essay on all of your accomplishments and projects you’ve worked on stating why you deserve a specific promotion, but it doesn’t matter if leadership doesn’t find your role “impactful”. Leadership only finds out how impactful these roles are once people are fed up and decide to pursue better working conditions. Expectations here are extremely high and never actually match your role. Then you are expected to continuously take on more while never actually getting what you deserve. 3) What started off as a good working environment has turned into a toxic work place culture. You are praised for working long nights and weekends. If you’re not going to sleep thinking about how to improve your job, then you’re not valued as a “good employee”. If you value your mental health please look elsewhere!

Pros

- Rokt is growing every single year .. working here is incredibly exciting. You are constantly challenged, always given the chance to step up and innovate, and meaningfully contribute to that yearly (profitable) growth. - You get the opportunity to work with the smartest people in the industry. Not just colleagues at your level, but oftentimes, exposure to C-Suite leadership and senior leaders with experience at some of the biggest brands in the world. The people make Rokt a very special place. On top of all this, you get to work not just in your function, but across the business with amazing people; although I work in a go-to-market function, I work with product, engineers, HR, and more almost every day. - Great benefits, opportunity to travel (in a lot of roles), and an annual kick off at exciting places! - The product is genuinely best in class. It truly works for our clients, which allows the GTM team to build fulfilling relationships with some of the biggest brands in the world. - Leaders are committed to your growth. If you put in the work, they will have your back and vouch for you when it matters.

Cons

- This is not a place to work if you want a job that does not require your best every day. It can be incredibly hard at times, as the high-growth mindset of the company demands your best efforts nearly every day. The pressure is high, but the results and rewards are worth it. - Working with senior level execs is a great opportunity, but it is also very anxiety inducing. There is a steep learning curve when understanding how to work with someone on C-Suite, and I don't believe Rokt always does the best job of bridging that gap in a palatable way.
