Pros

Company values and culture. Support good causes and always roll out new initiative for non-profits.

Cons

Staffing industry is tough but low compensation and Micromanagement doesn't help. Unrealistic goals and expectations.

Roth Staffing Response

As mentioned in the title of your review, we certainly celebrate the fact that several outside entities have honored our company with prestigious recognition, but awards are merely the by-product of a wonderful group of people who are passionate about what they do. We endeavor to put our coworkers first and foremost. We never like to hear that a former coworker had issues with their manager. We know that a manager can make or break an experience for a coworker. The coworker engagement survey gives us valuable insight into which teams are struggling with coworker satisfaction and we strive to make real changes that will make life better for the people who work here. You are correct in that the Staffing Industry is tough, but it is also rewarding. Thank you for your candid feedback...we promise to continuing listening intently to our coworkers.

Pros

The company really tries to practice the ethics it stands for, nice employee recognition program. Friendly people

Cons

No training, no coaching. Upper Management has grand ideas and very little practical expertise on how to implement. Lots of verbose mission statements and new initiatives but they seem to be missing the point. Started a permanent staffing division with no one with any experience in the perm placement to lead it. Well, on person who did it 15 years ago in a different state. Way behind the ball when it comes to technology. At a disadvantage compared to what the competition is using for an applicant tracking system.

Pros

They let you run pretty independently as long as you meet company goals, they are ethical and concerned about doing the right thing.

Cons

Corporate really needs to take a real close look and dig into to senior management and what they do all day? We are all held accountable for sales and growing business, but if you dont meet your weekly numbers you hear about it from Senior Management, yet Senior Management has NO activity or sales documentation. "They" I'm sure are very well compensated, therefore I would think they would feel more accountable to carry their own weight and pay for themselves! Get on the PHONES, help grow business Sr Management - show us how it should be done!
